Women in the Golf Industry will host its quarterly education series WIGI-pedia, discussing Building Your Business-Building Your Brand, on June 20, 2024 from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm (Eastern). Members and guests are invited to participate.
We are excited to feature WIGI member Debbie O’Connell who knows how to change lives for the better. She has over 34 years experience as an LPGA Professional where her expertise extends well beyond teaching performance skills for golf. As an entrepreneur Debbie has built a strong brand and reaches clients around the world.
Debbie also teaches Mindset Mastery and How to Conquer Your Golf Mind allowing her clients to achieve their goal and play their best. In addition to her work with individuals and groups on performance skills and mindset, she is an International Professional Speaker, Trainer & Coach, Corporate Event Manager and organizes a biannual golf and travel week at the Solheim Cup.
Debbie is the best-selling author of Golf Positive! Live Positive!, the host of Audible ’s 12-lesson series “Golf Positive,” and has had several appearances on the Golf Channel. She wrote an e-book titled “7 Principles to Lower Your Handicap with Flow State Golf.”
Recently voted, again, as one of the Top 50 Best Teachers in the LPGA, some of her previous awards include:

Debbie is certified in John Maxwell Speaking, Training, Coaching; Strategic Intervention life coaching; Master Certified as a Neuro Linguistic Programing (NLP) Practitioner and Coach, Time Line Therapy®, Hypnosis, Reiki II through Genius Unlocked Coaching Institute and DISC Personality Assessment. She has attended Tony Robbins “Date with Destiny” and “Unleash the Power Within” training two times, and co-hosted an empowering golf day in conjunction with the Tony Robbins UPW program.
Debbie holds a degree in Psychology with minors in Business and Broadcasting from Western Kentucky University. She was a member of the WKU Lady Topper Basketball team where she competed in the Division 1 NCAA Final Four.
